A badminton olympian from Kerala, he won the Indian National Badminton title in 1988 and 1989. He also won the prestigious French Open in 1983 & 1984 and Welsh International Open in 1988 and 1991. Vimal also represented India at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, and was ranked in the world top 20. He was the National chief coach for the Indian badminton squad for several years. He quit the post in 2006 to concentrate on coaching youngsters at the PPBA. He has also coached Saina Nehwal and was instrumental in helping her reach the World No.1 position.

Gagan is the recipient of the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, and Padma Shree. He is one of the key members of India’s shooting contingent and is popularly known as ‘The 600 Express’, thanks to shooting a World Record score of 600 twice. Previously the coach of Maharashtra State Team and Nagpur district team. Kiran has been a successful coach for over 24 years and his students have won international, national, and state titles. He is currently on the National Coaching Panel created by the Badminton Association of India.

Syed Mohammed Arif, popularly known as Arif Saab, is one of the most distinguished coaches in India who has coached many stalwarts of Indian badminton including Pullela Gopichand, Saina Nehwal and Jwala Gutta. In 1974, he joined the national panel of coaches for badminton and in 1997 he was appointed as the National Chief Badminton Coach. He was conferred with Padma Shri award in 2012 and Dronacharya Award in 2000.

He has an experience of over 10 years in Coaching the Indian National Team. He worked as a national coach for two years in Gopichand Academy for preparation of London Olympics 2012. He has also assisted Vimal Kumar to train Saina Nehawal from 2014 to 2017.
